NVSM reference

NVSM (NVIDIA System Management) is a higher-level node health monitor included with DGX systems:

  • Monitors GPUs, CPUs, memory, storage, fans, PSUs
  • Integrates with BCM for cluster-level visibility
  • Generates alerts for hardware faults

Use NVSM for DGX node hardware health. Use DCGM for GPU-specific metrics and diagnostics.
